Prince William has stepped out for an important community engagement in Dartmoor on the same day his younger brother Prince Harry celebrates his 42nd birthday in Britain.
Kensington Palace confirmed that the Prince of Wales was in Princetown to launch a new community-led fund with the Duchy of Cornwall.
William was seen smiling as he arrived in the Dartmoor town, where the new Princetown Community Fund will make £250,000 available for local projects.

The scheme is expected to support projects designed to strengthen the town while creating longer-term benefits for the people who live there.
William’s visit also gave him an opportunity to meet local residents and highlight the work being carried out through the Duchy of Cornwall.
The engagement represents another example of the Prince of Wales using his position as Duke of Cornwall to support local communities connected to the Duchy estate.
Engagement Falls on Harry’s Birthday
The visit took place on September 15, which also marks Prince Harry’s 42nd birthday.
Harry is celebrating the occasion in the UK this year following his return to Britain with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The timing of William’s Princetown engagement has inevitably attracted attention because of the continuing interest in the relationship between the two brothers.
