Rylan Clark is arguably one of the most recognisable figures on our television screens, but the TV star has confirmed that today (Friday, August 29) will be his last day as a host for This Morning over the summer holidays. The announcement comes after he received immense backlash for his comments on immigration. Opening the ITV daytime programme today alongside fellow presenter Josie Gibson, Rylan said: “Last day today!” Rylan’s rise to stardom initially began when he appeared on The X Factor as a contestant, before he then won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013. His career expanded when he became the presenter for Big Brother’s Bit on the Side and became co-presenter on the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show, It Takes Two.
Naturally, with his bubbly personality and presenting style, fans would probably be intrigued to know Rylan’s net worth. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Rylan’s salary is reportedly estimated to be $6million, or £4.87million, as of 2025.

Earlier this week, This Morning was plunged into chaos during a divisive debate about immigration, amid protests taking place across the country over the use of hotels for housing asylum seekers.
Rylan revealed his own thoughts on immigration during the show. The Celebrity Big Brother winner said that although immigration has been a key part of this country’s history and the building of its society, and how doctors who are immigrants helped to save his mum’s life, he argued that there needs to be a policy to stop small boats crossing the English Channel.

He remarked: “[The UK] is built on immigration. Legal immigration — a lot of the nurses and doctors who have saved my mum’s life have come over here from other countries. They’re living a great life, they’re paying into this tax system, they’re helping this country thrive.”
Rylan then added, “I find it absolutely insane that all these people are risking their lives crossing the Channel.
“And when they get here, it does seem, and I think this is why a lot of Labour voters as well are saying there’s something wrong, it feels like, ‘Welcome, come on in’. That’s the narrative we’re being fed.”
He went on: “There are people who have lived here all their lives who are struggling. They’re homeless. Let’s not even discuss our homeless. There are people living on the streets, veterans, all of this.”
