Stacey Solomon has broken her silence on social media after a double blow at last night’s NTAs. The former X Factor star had been nominated twice in the Factual Entertainment category, with BBC shows Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe.

Unfortunately, despite double the chance of winning, the 35-year-old failed to pick up an award, with Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm taking home the win.
Although Stacey didn’t get invited to the stage to accept an award, she was given the honour to present the award for The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award alongside husband Joe Swash, which went to Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

However, it doesn’t seem as if Stacey is letting the loss get her down, as she appeared to be in high sprits on Instagram today as she posted an adorable video compilation of her evening. Stacey could be seen beaming with her little ones as well as dancing with husband Joe in the uplifting clip.
In the caption, she penned: “‘It’s never about the destination. It all about who you spend the journey with. we didn’t win any awards last night but it feels like we won.

“Not only did I get to be with my whole family last night but I also got to be with our WHOLE Sort Your Life Out team and S&J team. My second family. To the moon and back families @sortyourlifeout @staceyandjoe.tv @optomen @bbciplayer
“Thank you to all of you who got us there & voted we are forever grateful”.

Just hours before the ceremony, the Loose Women star hit out at a “ludicrous” decision by the organisation for putting both her shows up in the same category.
During an interview with Magic Radio, the star was asked about Stacey & Joe and Sort Your Life Out going head to head in the Entertainment category, as she said: “They’ve put Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe in the same blummin’ category for some reason.”
It’s not the first time Stacey has ‘hit out’ at an awards show. Earlier this year, the TV personality launched an epic rant after Sort Your Life Out lost out to Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour at the BAFTAs.

Later on the star took to Instagram and said: “Good morning from the veg patch, about to do the morning water. We didn’t win a BAFTA and I know I’m supposed to take it gracefully like a champ but I’ll be honest I’m devastated.
“I’m not handling it very well, I’m not taking it very gracefully. I’m devastated for our whole team like I’m so gutted for our team. Everyone got dressed up and were really hopeful because I think because they work so hard.
“It’s not an easy show to make, Sort Your Life Out, and the team work so hard to make it happen and they so deserve a BAFTA. The Sort Your Life Out team deserve a BAFTA and I’m devastated.
