Zara Tindall is set to make an unexpected royal appearance next month, which will no doubt excite royal fans. The Princess Royal’s daughter will step out on August 11 in Aachen, Germany, to attend the opening ceremony of the FEI World Championships – the premier global championship for equestrian sports.
Although not a working royal, the King’s niece will bring regal vibes to the competition, along with Her Royal Highness Princess of Orange from the Netherlands. It is reported that three royal stables – from the Netherlands, Denmark, and Great Britain – will showcase their royal carriages in the ceremony, with Her Royal Highness, Elena de Borbón, Infanta of Spain, also expected to attend.

The return to Aachen will be very special for Zara, who won an individual gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in 2006 at the same place.

The opening ceremony is expected to see impressive equestrian displays with over 250 horses.
There will also be dance and musical performances to celebrate the start of the event, which will run until August 23.
It is not known whether Zara’s husband, Mike Tindall, will accompany her to the opening ceremony, or if Zara will attend any other days of the event.
