GB News presenters Alex Armstrong and Ellie Costello addressed Prince William and Princess Kate’s recent red carpet appearance on Tuesday. The Prince and Princess of Wales stepped out for the premiere of Tom Cruise’s latest film Digger in Leicester Square. The Hollywood actor, 64, has known the prince and princess for a number of years and also met William’s mother, Princess Diana, and attended her funeral in 1997. Catherine looked ethereal in a purple floor-length dress designed by Jenny Packham. She accessorised her look with a pair of Diana’s pearl drop earrings to the premiere on Tuesday, as well as the late Queen Mother’s amethyst sautoir necklace. Meanwhile, Prince William looked dapper in a black velvet jacket which he paired with a bowtie.
Their appearance comes after the release of Earl Spencer’s book titled Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, which made damning claims about King Charles. It has continued to make headlines after claims the monarch was “giddy” following the death of his late wife, Diana. Buckingham Palace have strongly refuted the claims.
The GB News presenters were joined by royal biographer, Tom Bower, on the breakfast show. He suggested Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, were “pulling their hair out” following the Wales’s red carpet debut.

“We had this fantastic example, we should say, of the Prince and Princess of Wales, keep calm and carry on last night,” Ellie mused.
Tom replied: “It was marvellous. One can imagine in the Cotswolds this morning, the Sussexes are pulling their hair out with envy and anger.”

He suggested William and Kate’s appearance alongside Cruise was the perfect way to silence the noise.
“Of course, it’s business as usual,” he continued, “and hopefully the Wales’s will appear a lot more to snap the oxygen out of the Sussexes’ campaign against the Royal Family.”

Elsewhere, Prince Harry suffered an awkward mishap on Wednesday.
The Duke of Sussex appeared on stage in New York City to discuss the dangers young people face with social media and artificial intelligence, before his speech came to an abrupt end.
Seven minutes into his impassioned plea, Harry’s address came to an abrupt end. He had said: “The damage was already done to a generation of children and parents. We do not have years for what comes next,” before giving a long pause and adding: “And that’s it”, before walking off stage.
A spokesman for the duke confirmed there had been a fault with the teleprompter, causing him to abandon his address halfway through. Around 40 minutes later after other presentations in the sessions, Harry was welcomed back onto the stage and finished his speech.
