Loose Women star admits ‘iced out’ Prince Harry should be welcomed back by royals (Image: GETTY)
Loose Women panellist Jane Moore has suggested Prince Harry should be welcomed back into the royal fold despite being his own “worst enemy”. Previous reports have claimed the royal family no longer “trusts” Harry and Meghan Markle leading to claims the Sussexes have been “iced out”. Harry’s return to London has sparked speculation about whether he will have a meeting with his father, King Charles, who is also back in the capital from Scotland for his weekly cancer treatment and meeting with the Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer. The pair last met in February 2024, when the Duke rushed back to Britain following Charles’s cancer diagnosis announcement. Neither side have confirmed whether a meeting will take place between father and son.
Jane, 63, has claimed despite the family tensions it would beneficial for Harry to reunite with the royals. She suggested the Duke of Sussex’s attendance at the WellChild Awards on Monday proved “what an asset he was and could still be, to the Royal Family”.

Writing in her latest column for The Sun, she said: “There’s talk of whether he’ll meet with his father for the first time in 19 months, but naturally, following various hurtful revelations by the Sussexes, it seems that the family no longer trust him.
Fair enough. But perhaps it’s time for them to look at Harry not as an enemy, but from the perspective of someone who lost his mother and, unlike his older brother, felt marooned by a lack of purpose in a family where duty takes precedence.”
Jane went on to share that Prince William has always been seen as an important member of the royals as he is next in line to the throne, while Harry has always felt like the “spare”.
“Yes, Harry can be his own worst enemy, but one now gets a better understanding of where his anger comes from and why he’s so protective of his own family,” she commented.
Jane concluded: “Perhaps, armed with this knowledge and a watertight NDA for all parties to sign, it’s time for his family to embrace him back into the fold.”
The brothers attended similar engagements yesterday and were just eight miles apart as they paid tributes to the late Queen on Monday.
Harry has barely spoken to his family since stepping down as working royal and moving to the US.
The Duke previously opened up about his struggles with royal life in his memoir Spare.
He also made revelations about his family in a six-part Netflix series and Oprah Winfrey interview. Harry has since shared he would like to reconcile with the royals.
