Paris Fury has defiantly defended her daughter Venezuela after it was revealed that the 16-year-old was engaged to her boxer boyfriend Noah Price.
The mother-of-seven sat down on the This Morning sofa where she was quizzed by hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard on her reaction to the news, and whether she felt her eldest child was ‘too young’ to be preparing for a wedding.
Paris, 35, was quick to defend the decision – admitting that her daughter had only ‘followed in her footsteps’, as she got engaged to champion boxer husband Tyson, 37, when she was just 17.
Hitting back against the backlash from fans, Paris told Cat, 48, and Ben, 50: ‘She’s very young, [but we don’t] worry at all, Venezuela is so mature for her years.
‘She has done so much, even in such a short time just because of who she is and the fact that she’s got six younger brother and sisters that she has helped bring up, I can’t deny it.
‘She is very mature, and in the last 12 months I’ve been doing work with Venezuela, she’s been doing different shoots, interviews, working on social media.

Hitting back against the backlash from fans, Paris said she was supportive of Venezuela’s decision to get engaged young
‘I’ve give her all options in life, and she has chosen this path and I can’t deny her.
‘I was 17 when I got engaged, so she’s obviously following in my footsteps, and how could I judge her in any which way?
‘I know she’s young, but I think she’s found the person that she loves, and if she’s happy, I will completely support her.’
Insisting that Venezuela and fiance Noah were in no rush to get married, Paris added: ‘She said she’d like to have a, a wedding. She’d like to keep it small.
‘But she’s just got engaged and she’s enjoying this moment. She’s not in a rush. As it stands, she’s just enjoying where she’s at.’
Last month, Paris’ fans were left shocked as she shared a video showing Noah proposing to Venezuela at her glamorous 16th birthday party.
Noah, whose age is unknown, was seen getting down in one knee as Paris told fans they were ‘shocked but very happy’ for the young couple.
Venezuela, who appears in the Fury family’s hit Netflix reality series At Home With The Furys, was quick to accept the proposal.

The surprise engagement has echos of Venezuela’s parents’ romance, after Paris got engaged to her boxer husband at the age of 17
Paris confirmed that it wasn’t just her young daughter who love was in the air for, as she opened up on brother-in-law Tommy’s relationship with Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague.
Earlier this month, Molly-Mae, 26, admitted she’s unsure what the future will bring after rekindling her romance with boxer Tommy, 26.
The mother-of-one admitted in a trailer for the second series of her Prime Video show: ‘With Tommy and I, we’re back together yes but I never know what tomorrow is going to bring.’
But Paris was quick to settle the worries of fans by confirming that the couple, who split last year following the boxer’s struggles with alcohol, were ‘doing great’.
Revealing Molly-Mae was unlikely to be seen in the new series of At Home With The Furys because of filming schedule clashing, Paris said: ‘When we’ve seen Molly and Tommy together, it’s been in personal time without cameras.
‘It is beautiful to see them together, all relationships are hard and you go through good times and bad times and I’m so pleased, they’re doing really great at the minute.’
Elsewhere, Paris also opened up on how husband Tyson had been fairing after he announced his retirement from boxing again in January.

The boxer, who has previously retired and returned to the spot, has hinted at comebacks to the game since stepping back, and Cat and Ben were keen to find out if he would be returning to the ring.
Paris revealed: ‘He has had so many different offers and he always, um, thinks about it and he says, you know, “I’m always contemplating I’m just taking on offers”…
‘He’s promised me he is gonna stay retired, but I don’t quite feel that he’s a hundred percent there – if he wants to do it, I did say to him recently, because I kept denying him, “I will support you”.
‘Watch this space. It’s always watch this space. Tyson could get to 55 and be watch this space.’
She also admitted that Tyson had been struggling in his retirement after fellow boxer Ricky Hatton was found dead in his home aged 46 earlier this year.
‘He has had troubles in the past and he did go through a low point,’ Paris continued. ‘Ricky Hatton, he heard about it and it put him in a slump for a few days.
‘It was such a tragedy, and it did affect Tyson because Tyson had a personal relationship with Ricky, especially in the boxing with training.
‘It was a bad place for him for a moment, but he’s come round and it just opened his eyes to awareness about what can happen at home and that you should always talk to people, seek help, seek advice.’
