Strictly Come Dancing star Alex Kingston made an honest confession about the judges ahead of her week four performance on Saturday. The actress, 62, appeared on It Takes Two alongside her professional partner Johannes Radebe, where she confessed that she’s not too concerned about what Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke think, saying she’s decided to focus on how the dance makes her feel rather than their feedback. “I think it’s going to be my favourite dance,” Alex told TV presenter Janette Manrara. “I think I decided I don’t care what the judges think about our dance or, you know, what they say.”
She added: “I’m going to go to bed knowing that that is my favourite dance – I just feel it.” Discussing how Alex has improved while training for their Rumba, Johannes said: “It has absolutely been her quality of movement. And how far she’s come. You know, now we have the language between us where I’m like, ‘forward, walk, turn’ and she knows just what I’m talking about.
“So it’s been so beautiful to see this, how she’s taking on training.”
The couple will be performing to the 80s classic Fast Car by Tracy Chapman. Last week, Alex channelled Meryl Streep’s A Devil Wears Prada character Miranda Priestley for their Quickstep.
They were awarded 30 points from the judges, placing them fifth on the leaderboard. Soaring to the top of the leaderboard was Emmerdale star Lewis Cope, who received the first 10 of the series for their Paso Doble to “The Plaza of Execution” from the 1998 film The Mask of Zorro.
At the other end were Ross King and Jowita Przystal, who earned just 19 after their Paso Doble to the Thunderbirds theme tune failed to impress the judging panel.

Unfortunately for the Lorraine presenter, he ended up in the dreaded dance off with Balvinder Sopal and was sent home.
Speaking to host Tess Daly following his elimination, Ross tearfully said: “I have loved every single minute of it. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us, all the people who voted – they’ve been amazing.
“I want to thank everyone here in this room, backstage, the judges, the crew – every single person here has made me so, so welcome. And, I want to thank a very special lady who has been with me through it all and has been absolutely everything: she’s been a mentor, teacher, carer…” he said as Jowita quipped “Barista!”
“…I could not have wished for a better partner, and I could not have wished to be on a better show. Thank you judges for all your remarks,” he added.
