Emmerdale fans saw a character clearly plotting revenge ahead of Anthony Fox’s mu4der next week on the ITV soap, but with a whodunnit on the way fans don’t think it’s Caleb Miligan

There was a k!ller hint on Emmerdale on Friday night ahead of a character being brutally muɾdered next week.

Anthony Fox is set to be k!lled off in grim scenes as part of a whodunnit on the ITV soap. Friday night’s episode heavily hinted at the muɾder weapon and who the culprit would be.

Spoilers had teased a shot will ring out next week, and soon Anthony’s lifeless and bloodied body is discovered by a villager. But who has k!lled Anthony, amid his grim secrets being exposed?

Those in the frame include his son-in-law Caleb Miligan, daughter Ruby’s recent fling Cain Dingle and Caleb’s nephew Aaron Dingle. There’s even hints that Nicola King and Laurel Thomas could be in the frame after a showdown with the abuser.

Ruby herself will no doubt come under suspicion too, after it emerged recently that Anthony had raped his daughter when she was a teenager. In a disturbing development, it’s since been confirmed that her daughter Steph was fathered by Anthony and not Caleb, after a DNA test.

Steph has yet to find out about the abuse and the fact her grandfather is actually her biological father. Scenes this week saw Ruby tell all to her stunned father Anthony, while Caleb and his sister Chas Dingle finally figured it all out.

On Friday we saw Caleb comfort Ruby and encourage her to speak her truth. She sobbed as she detailed the abuse, and confirmed for the first time out loud to someone that her father had raped her, and that he had to be Steph’s real father.

Towards the end of the episode we saw Caleb sneaking around and meeting with a random person. They had a delivery for him, and soon enough we realised it was a gun.

So Caleb is clearly looking to get revenge on Anthony for his sick actions. It could be safe to assume Caleb k!lls Anthony given he has a gun and Anthony is possibly shot.

But some viewers are convinced it’s all a red herring, and that someone else will k!ll Anthony. In a major twist, they think someone who has not been teased as a suspect will turn out to be the one behind his demise.

The key theory is that Steph will uncover the truth before mu4dering her grandfather/father. One fan theorised: “It’s so obvious that Steph is the one that will k!ll Anthony,” as another viewer said: “I’m thinking Caleb or even Steph.” A third fan wrote: “I think Steph k!lls him and Caleb and Cain try to cover it up.”
