James Martin has landed two brand-new ITV programmes for 2027 as the broadcaster also confirms the future of his long-running Saturday Morning series.
The celebrity chef, who regularly appears on This Morning, will front James Martin’s Italian Adventure as well as a new Saturday morning programme titled James Martin Quick ’N’ Easy.
The double commission means viewers will see even more of the 54-year-old chef next year, with the two shows offering very different takes on his passion for food.
James Martin’s Italian Adventure will air during the early evening on ITV1 and will see James travel across Italy, combining food, spectacular scenery and his love of high-performance cars.
It follows previous travel programmes that have taken him through America, France and Spain.
This time, James will tackle the legendary Mille Miglia route, which has frequently been described as “the most beautiful race in the world”.
James Heads to Italy for New Adventure
The Italian series will allow James to explore different regions while uncovering local food and lesser-known destinations along the way.
He has already teased that viewers can expect to discover some of Italy’s “hidden gems”.
The programme continues a format that has proved popular with audiences, mixing James’s culinary knowledge with his enthusiasm for travel and cars.
But fans who prefer practical recipes they can recreate at home will also have a completely different new series to enjoy.
James Martin Quick ’N’ Easy will air on Saturday mornings and focus on meals that can be prepared without spending hours in the kitchen.
According to the programme’s synopsis, the recipes will be designed to “save time” while still delivering plenty of flavour.
The series will offer straightforward tips and dishes aimed at viewers looking for quick and achievable meal ideas.
Saturday Morning Show Also Renewed
The announcement comes with further good news for fans of James.
His established ITV series James Martin’s Saturday Morning has also been extended into 2027.
The show will enter its 10th series and continue welcoming celebrity guests alongside a new selection of recipes.
Its renewal follows strong streaming figures during the first half of 2026.
According to ITV, James Martin’s Saturday Morning recorded 5.3 million streams on ITVX during the opening six months of the year — an increase of 18 per cent compared with the same period previously.
James described the latest commissions as “fantastic” and said continuing to make the Saturday morning programme was both an “honour” and a “pleasure”.
He also thanked ITV audiences for supporting the show over the years.

The chef said he was looking forward to viewers seeing all three programmes in 2027, particularly his latest journey through Italy.
Exact transmission dates have not yet been confirmed, while details about celebrity guests will be revealed closer to broadcast.
ITV has also welcomed the expanded partnership with James.
Leanne Clarke, Assistant Commissioner for ITV Entertainment and Daytime, said she was delighted that James Martin’s Saturday Morning would continue into another year.
“After years of serving up great food and plenty of Saturday smiles on ITV, I am thrilled to continue the much-loved show James Martin’s Saturday Morning into 2027,” she said.
Clarke also highlighted the contrast between his two new projects.
One will focus on fast recipes that viewers can recreate in their own kitchens, while the other will put James back on the road in a country internationally associated with food.
She added that she was looking forward to “another glorious adventure” around Italy.
For James, the commissions mark a significant expansion of an already busy relationship with ITV.
Rather than simply returning with another series of his established Saturday programme, he will now be juggling three separate shows across the network.
Viewers can expect familiar weekend cooking, practical recipes designed for busy households and a much bigger culinary journey across Italy.
And after almost a decade of James Martin’s Saturday Morning, ITV’s latest announcement makes one thing clear — the chef will remain a major part of the channel’s food programming well into 2027.
