BREAKING: Good Morning Britain Sparks Fury With Sh0cking Prince Harry UK Return Coverage — Viewers Say Enough Is Enough

Good Morning Britain viewers were left furious after the programme aired a major update on Prince Harry.

The ITV breakfast programme, hosted on Monday by Ed Balls, 58, and Susanna Reid, 54, revealed that Harry will be returning to the UK, his first visit since losing a legal battle over his right to taxpayer-funded security.

Presenter Ranvir Singh handed over to correspondent Richard Gaisford, who reflected on Harry’s strained relationship with his father King Charles and the possibility of a reunion during the short trip.

‘It’s been 19 months since Harry last saw his father. An awful lot has happened in between, of course, the King’s cancer diagnosis,’ Richard said.

He went on to reference recent speculation after aides of Harry and Meghan were spotted in London meeting with members of the King’s team.

‘Royal watchers believe that perhaps now, he’s looking at a more diplomatic path back to his father,’ Richard added.

Royah Nikkhah, royal editor of The Sunday Times, also weighed in, remarking: ‘If Harry has the chance to see his father, I suspect he will be rather more tight-lipped than he has been previously.’

But while the studio guests were considering the possibility of a royal reconciliation, viewers at home were far less impressed – and took to social media to vent their frustration.

Some accused the programme of fixating on the Suss3xes at the expense of other senior royals.

Others fumed: ‘Every time Prince Harry steps foot in England or court, Good Morning Britain goes into a frenzy and the same narrative each time – is Harry going to see his dad or brother.

‘The show is obsessed with Harry and Meghan every week without fail.’

Another snapped: ‘Who? Why are you even reporting this?’

A third viewer bluntly dismissed the coverage, writing: ‘So, in other words, you’ve no clue if Harry will meet up with his father. So, nothing to report here.’

Some even turned their anger towards the Duke himself, with one writing: ‘Who cares if Harry is in the UK. I hope he’s paying his own security bill while he’s here.

‘He made his bed, now he has to lie in it. There’s no way back for him, no matter how much he tries.’

Harry has been at odds with the government since 2020, when his taxpayer-funded police protection was withdrawn following his and Meghan’s decision to step down as senior royals and relocate to California.

Earlier this year, he returned to the Royal Courts of Justice in London for a two-day hearing in an attempt to overturn the ruling.

He later claimed in an interview with The Telegraph that his security was deliberately stripped to discourage him and Meghan, 43, from leaving royal life behind.

It comes after GMB viewers threatened to call Ofcom after Ed Balls and Susanna Reid’s ’embarrassing and despicable’ questioning about breast enlargements during a politics debate.

On a recent installment of the morning news programme, the newly-elected Green Party leader Zack Polanski was in the studio.

But fans were left ‘appalled’ by an interview segment that left them raging at the presenters: ‘What the hell is wrong with them?’

Things became sour when talk turned to Polanski’s career as a hypnotherapist before his entry into politics.

More than a decade ago, Polanski, now 42, collaborated with a journalist on an article about body image.

This led the journalist to question whether Polanski would ‘experiment’ with hypnotherapy to change someone’s body – for example, hypnotising someone to encourage breast growth.

Polanski insisted he was willing to try the unorthodox practice, as long as it was made clear it was not among his offered services, and he would not charge for such a service.

The piece was published and the politician later apologised, arguing the article misrepresented the situation.

But Ed and Susanna’s emphasis on the topic did not sit right with viewers, who criticised the ’embarrassing’ line of questioning
