It has been revealed that one BBC star could be banned from ever appearing on the star-studded competition series, Strictly Come Dancing. Former EastEnders star Daniella Westbrook shared that she’s unlikely to ever don the glitzy outfits and take to the dancefloor, even though she’s previously said that taking part in the ballroom programme has long been her aspiration. The actress who starred on the soap as Sam Mitchell admitted: “I’d love to do Strictly. It’s my dream.” However, after competing on a rival show, the 51-year-old believes her chances are slim.
“But I don’t think they’d let me do it because I’ve done Dancing on Ice already. I’m not sure why, though. They are hugely different two very different shows,” Danicella said via Casino.org. The star said that she would also leap at the opportunity to feature on reality show programmes like Celebrity Dance Moms, calling it something she believes “would be great”. However, she has since set her sights on romance and disclosed that she’d also relish attempting Celebs Go Dating to discover romance.

“I need to find true love. I thought I found it, but I was wrong,” she confessed to the Daily Star.
When questioned about what type of partner she’s seeking, Danniella revealed: “Someone with a job. Honestly, a good mate of mine, Danny he’s been in the industry for years doing hair.
“He’s worked with some huge celebrities, like Cara Delevingne and loads of others. If you could find someone like my mate Dan, that would be perfect.
“He understands how tough this industry can be and has a solid work ethic. He’s clean and sober, so he’d get where I’m coming from with my own lifestyle,” the actress added.

Sharing more of her desires, Daniella added: “When you get to 51, and you think you’ve found ‘the one’, like I thought I had not too long ago, and it doesn’t work out, it knocks you a bit. So now, I’m just trying to find that spark and energy again.”
Although Daniella didn’t make the line-up for Strictly this year, BBC viewers will see a fresh horde of famous faces taking to the dancefloor. This includes the likes of reality star Vicky Pattison, model and actress Ellie Goldstein, EastEnders favourite Balvinder Sopal and ex-England rugby captain Chris Robshaw.
