For more than ten years, Rob Rinder has been a familiar face on British television. Beginning with reality courtroom programme Judge Rinder in 2014, Rob’s profile has continuously grown.

His fame certainly accelerated in 2016 following his appearance on the fourteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, but it’s his partnership with pal Rylan Clark that has elevated Rob into the British TV elite.

The BAFTA-winning Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour, which broadcast on BBC Two in May 2024, instantly secured a follow-up series and left the London-born barrister frequently pursued by photographers.

However, he reveals there are occasions when the snappers show no interest in him. Chatting to Mel Giedroyc on the Where There’s A Will, There’s A Wake podcast, he revealed that he occasionally finds himself overshadowed by his companion.

He shared with The Telegraph: “She could not have given me more of her aggressively undivided indifference. Not in a horrible way, she was just a bit unimpressed with me.”
