BREAKING NEWS: Strictly Star AJ Odudu ‘In Talks’ For Huge I’m A Celebrity 2026 Move
AJ Odudu Reportedly in Talks for I’m A Celebrity 2026 as Schedule Opens Door to Jungle Stint
AJ Odudu could be heading from the Big Brother studio to the Australian jungle, with reports claiming the presenter has held early talks about joining I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! later this year.
The 38-year-old is said to have put herself forward for the ITV reality show after discovering that her schedule could accommodate the demanding filming dates.
AJ remains one of the hosts of Big Brother alongside Will Best, but her reduced workload on the upcoming series is reportedly giving her more freedom than usual.
According to The Sun, she has made it clear to ITV that she is enthusiastic about the possibility of entering camp and would be willing to take on the show’s notorious Bushtucker Trials.
“Once AJ’s Big Brother working dates were secured, she put herself into the frame for I’m A Celebrity,” a source claimed.
“She’s had early conversations about taking part and has made it clear she can absolutely make the dates they need her to.”
AJ Said to Be ‘Keen as Mustard’
The source suggested AJ is not simply considering the show because of a gap in her diary.
She is reportedly genuinely excited by the idea of taking part.
“AJ loves the show and would love facing the Bushtucker Trials,” the insider added.
Her reported interest comes at a particularly convenient time.
AJ’s number of main-show Big Brother appearances has reportedly fallen from 35 to nine this year, leaving more room in her schedule.
The new series of Big Brother begins on September 13, with AJ and Will returning as hosts.

Will is also preparing for another major television commitment, having signed up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
That shifting workload appears to have created the opening that could allow AJ to spend several weeks in Australia if ITV ultimately offers her a place in camp.
However, nothing has been confirmed.
An ITV spokesperson told Entertainment Daily: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! are pure speculation.”
Several Familiar Faces Linked to the Jungle
AJ is only the latest celebrity to be connected with the 2026 series.
Love Island star Chloe Burrows and influencer Sharky have reportedly held talks about taking part.
Gavin & Stacey actress Joanna Page has also been linked to the show, along with presenter Ade Adepitan.

With the official lineup yet to be announced, speculation is expected to continue as ITV finalises its cast.
AJ’s name is likely to attract particular attention because she already has a strong relationship with the broadcaster and experience fronting major entertainment formats.
She also has previous reality competition experience after reaching the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, although she was forced to withdraw from the final itself because of injury.
Big Brother Schedule Could Decide It
For now, the biggest factor appears to be timing.
AJ and Will are preparing to return for the new Big Brother series, while I’m A Celebrity is expected to launch later in the year.
If her reduced number of studio appearances gives her enough room between commitments, the Australian trip could become realistic.

The report suggests she has already told producers that availability will not be a problem.
Whether those conversations turn into an official contract remains to be seen.
ITV has not yet confirmed the cast for the 2026 series, and every name currently being discussed remains speculative.
Still, AJ’s reported enthusiasm and newly flexible schedule make her one of the more intriguing possibilities.
If the deal does happen, viewers could soon see one of ITV’s most familiar presenters swapping the Big Brother house for campfire duties, jungle challenges and Bushtucker Trials in Australia.
