Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been deemed “their own biggest threat” by royal expert Victoria Arbiter as a review of their UK security is set to take place. The couple travelled back to the UK last month, and the state of their security now that they have returned raises major questions.
Just days after their children started at a new school in the UK, it was reported on Monday that Harry and Meghan had withdrawn Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet due to the journey to and from school, which had reportedly placed the family’s security team under strain.
A statement released by the couple’s spokesperson has since sparked outrage, with Victoria Arbiter taking to X.
The spokesperson said: “The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements.
“The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family.
“This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there.”
Writing on X, Victoria said she believes the couple are their “own biggest threat,” as the statement was unnecessary.

She wrote, “There was no need for Harry and Meghan’s team to share this info, especially as no one knew the name of the school.
“By briefing as they have they’ve simply generated more interest and attention. Despite their claims, the biggest threat to their security is themselves.”
It remains unknown how long the family are planning on being in the UK.
