EXCLUSIVE: Prince Harry met with surprising reaction in London after court defeat

Prince Harry has been met with a surprising reaction today as he stepped out in London to attend the first public event of his UK trip. The Duke of Sussex, 41, stepped out at Chatham House in London for an Invictus Games event.
His appearance came shortly before it was announced that the duke and six other claimants had lost their unlawful information-gathering lawsuit against the Daily Mail’s publisher, Associated Newspapers Ltd (ANL). The trial came to an end in March, with Mr Justice Nicklin delivering his verdict in writing today. ANL always denied the claims against them and has published a statement praising the court’s verdict.
Harry did not spend time talking to fans as he stepped out of his car in London today, instead rushing into Chatham House to attend the event.
Despite this, fans of the duke were keen to let him know how much they love him, with one shouting: “We love you Harry.”
This reaction may have been surprising to some, especially as Harry has not been the most popular royal in the UK for some time.
A video of the moment has been shared online, with many fans on X praising the fan for showing Harry how loved he is.

Harry is understood to have known the court verdict when he arrived at the event.
He is yet to comment on the fact that he lost the case, along with the other claimants.
