Jasmine Harman is hard at work after shooting new episodes of A Place in the Sun. Sharing an update on Sunday morning (13 September), the Channel 4 star said: “I just flew in from Lisbon in the early hours of yesterday morning.
“I spent today at home [in Estepona]. Now I’m back at the airport, heading to Barcelona, and then I’ll be back in Malaga tomorrow. Then, on Thursday, I’m heading to Birmingham for A Place in the Sun Live at the NEC. Even I can’t keep track of myself!”
Prior to Jasmine’s post, the presenter revealed that she’d already completed a shoot in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. “Another week of filming wrapped, and what a gorgeous one it was,” she wrote on Saturday (12 September).
“It was so lovely to be back working with Vicky [Murua] again, always a pleasure!

“And of course, the best part of what we do… finding our house hunters somewhere they love enough to make an offer on! There’s nothing quite like that moment when all the searching pays off. Beautiful places, brilliant people and another Portuguese adventure in the bag. Until next time!”
Jasmine, who lives in Estepona, Spain, has become a firm favourite on A Place in the Sun, following her debut in 2004.
Speaking about her own decision to ditch the UK and build a life abroad, the mum-of-two told Hello!, “It has been a huge decision – a year or more in the making.”
Jasmine, who shares daughter Joy and son Albion with her husband of 17 years, John Boast, added: “For both of us, it was about making the best life. The years slip away, and that was very much why we wanted to make this move: to have more quality time together, more family time.
“Our children mean the world to us. Everything we do is for them. It’s about grasping opportunities when you have them. Family is the most important thing, and this will give us a much better balance.”
Chatting with Express Online, Jasmine remarked that the death of her longtime friend and co-star, Jonnie Irwin, also played an important role in the move. “His diagnosis kind of made me realise that anything can happen any day, and life is so precious that you should be doing the things that you want to do all the time. I think you’ve got to live for the day,” she explained.
“I think quite often my house hunters have had some sort of a catalyst, like a health scare or a bereavement, too, which has inspired them to think, ‘Let’s do it, let’s not wait any longer.'”
