Meghan Markle will make a new TV appearance, and it’s only days away, it has been announced. The Duchess of Sussex will appear as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia.
Viewers will be able to catch a glimpse of her on Channel 10 Australia next Sunday, July 26, at 7pm local time. Meghan’s appearance was filmed back in April, when the duchess and her husband visited Australia. The episode will see the duchess focusing on seasonal produce and personal stories.
She will ask the contestants to make a dish featuring one seasonal ingredient and a personal story behind it.
The ingredients available will include carrots, Jerusalem artichokes, Brussels sprouts, celeriac, Australian honey, macadamia nuts, quince, lemons and apples, mandarins and strawberries.
Meghan will appear alongside MasterChef Australia judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

The duchess said about her appearance, as per Mediaweek: “What attracted me to the MasterChef Australia kitchen? Two things: my love of food and my love of Australia. It was an easy yes.”
She added: “These [the ingredients available] are all things that, for me, feel really nostalgic.”
The broadcaster said in a post on Instagram announcing Meghan’s appearance: “The countdown is on! Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, joins the #MasterChefAU kitchen as a guest judge, bringing her love of food, entertaining and seasonal produce to one of the competition’s most memorable challenges. Tune in on Sunday, 26 July at 7pm on @channel10au.”
