Theories surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s return to the UK have run rampant, including rumors about a possible job opportunity.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced they would be returning to the UK at the end of August, just six years after moving to California and giving up their royal titles.
The move has prompted intense speculation, from rumors that King Charles’s health is in decline to concerns about Archie and Lilibet’s education, including a theory presented by the Today Show about Meghan’s future. Before marrying Prince Harry, the 45-year-old made a name for herself as an actress in the show Suits, giving up her Hollywood ambitions to become a Royal.
While many believe King Charles’s cancer diagnosis may be the reason, others, including the hosts of the Today Show, believe that Meghan may be using the move to plot her return to the screen as an actress.

During the Friday, August 21 broadcast of the popular morning news program, anchor Craig Melvin broke the news about the “new spotlight on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle” amid the major announcement.
Carson Daly noted, “There are still a lot of unanswered questions swirling around the couple’s decision to move back to Britain with their children after six years here in the US,” welcoming NBC News correspondent Daniele Hamamdjian to weigh in on the rampant rumors.
Reporting from outside of Buckingham Palace, she began, “This morning, after Harry and Meghan’s shock decision to move back to the UK — now the questions — and there are many — like, ‘Why now?'” before presenting the many theories behind the shocking decision.

The reporter continued, “And guys, add this one to the list of theories going around — Australian media is reporting that Meghan could potentially return to acting once she is back in the UK,” bolstering the idea that Meghan may have booked a role in the UK, and that’s why they decided to move back so suddenly.
Daniele added, “We reached out to Team Sussex, their response: ‘No comment.’ Stay tuned, though.”
Royal correspondent India McTaggart noted, “His father is still dealing with cancer treatment and Harry has made clear he wants to spend more time with him.”
She went on to say, “But I also think commercially there may be a reason why they are moving back. There’s a sense that maybe things haven’t worked out quite the way they wanted in the US.”
For now, Harry and Meghan “won’t return to royal duties,” and “it’s unknown where they will settle,” though the Today team proposed that they may move to a village near Althorp House, where the prince’s late mother, Princess Diana, grew up.
While Harry has long been estranged from the Royal family, particularly his older brother William, who is set to become king after their father’s passing, he had previously said that he would “love reconciliation” with his family.
The brothers may reunite sooner than expected during November’s Remembrance Day celebrations, during which it’s typical for members of the Royal family to honor those who lost their lives in wars.
