EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle’s biggest ‘contradiction’ she can’t get rid of as Duchess issued warning
The Duchess of Sussex needs to stop doing this, an expert has said.

Meghan Markle has been claimed to have a big “contradiction” that she can’t seem to shake, a brand and culture expert has said. The Duchess of Sussex, since quitting royal life with Prince Harry by her side in 2020, has spent the last six years trying to build up her own personal brand.
This has seen the duchess do podcasts, a Netflix show, and even launch her own brand As Ever. However, while Meghan, 44, seems keen to establish an identity away from her brief stint as a working royal, she does still use her Duchess of Sussex title very often. This is the title she was given by Queen Elizabeth II on her wedding day to Prince Harry.
Speaking about this, brand and culture expert Nick Ede said: “Meghan has spent the past few years repositioning herself as a lifestyle entrepreneur, producer and businesswoman.
“Her commercial identity is now increasingly rooted in America rather than Britain, so it feels natural for her to stay there.
“That said, there is always a contradiction that critics point to.
“Meghan has worked hard to establish herself outside the institution, yet she continues to use the Duchess of Sussex title, which remains one of the most valuable assets in her personal brand.”

He continued: “It’s a balancing act because the title undoubtedly opens doors globally, but it also keeps her intrinsically linked to the Royal Family she has distanced herself from.
“My advice would be to decide on one clear long-term strategy. If Meghan wants to build a lasting global lifestyle empire entirely on her own terms, then gradually placing less emphasis on the royal title would demonstrate confidence in the strength of her own name.”
Meghan did visit the UK last week with Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, but she flew in on Friday and only stayed for a brief time.
Prince Harry, on the other hand, flew back to his home country on Monday. It is believed his family didn’t fly with him earlier on in the week as originally planned as a result of not having access to taxpayer-funded armed police protection.
This meant he needed time to organise an enhanced security package.
