In her Instagram message, Sarah thanked BBC Breakfast for giving her the opportunity to appear more frequently over the previous month.
“Thanks for having me over the past month, keeping the red sofa warm for Naga, Sally, and Nina,” she wrote. “And thank you for all your lovely messages.”
Sarah explained that the programme’s refreshed appearance and the approaching end of August gave her the perfect reason to share a selection of studio photographs.
“A new look for @bbcbreakfast and August drawing to a close seemed like a good excuse for a photo dump,” she added.
She then wished her followers a happy Bank Holiday and confirmed that she would continue appearing on television elsewhere.
“Enjoy your Bank Holidays, and I will see you on the News Channel @bbcnews next week,” Sarah concluded.

Naga prepares for major broadcasting move
Naga announced in July that she would leave BBC Breakfast after 17 years with the programme.
Her exit will bring an end to her long-running presenting partnership with Charlie Stayt, although she is remaining with the BBC and moving into a prominent radio role.
Naga will present 5 Live Breakfast from January 2027, marking a major change in her broadcasting career after almost two decades as one of BBC Breakfast’s most recognisable faces.
