EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle’s ‘deep desire’ exposed – ‘She’s pretty keen’

Meghan Markle has shown her “deep desire” to get back in front of TV cameras again, a body language expert has said. On Sunday, the Duchess of Sussex appeared as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia, much to the participants’ surprise.
The episode was filmed a few months ago when Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, were on a trip to Australia. In the lead-up to the episode airing on Sunday, MasterChef Australia shared behind-the-scenes footage on social media. One clip showed Meghan preparing to walk onto the set and meet the participants, who cheered and applauded.
While some may expect Meghan to have been nervous while waiting for her cue to enter the set, a body language expert has told the Daily Express that the duchess instead showed signs of her “deep desire” to be back in a studio and in front of cameras.
Body language expert Judi James said: “Waiting for her cue to make her big entrance, Meghan displays mixed emotions, although the overriding one signalled by her body language is a very deep desire to get in there and in front of the studio cameras again.
“We can see this from her prepping rituals and the way she is so hot out of the traps once she gets her cue, shooting forward like an Olympic sprinter.
“Also, like a sprinter, she performs some body rocking rituals prior to her walk starting. This rocking allows the body to retain momentum rather than standing still and taking time to warm up once the cue is given.”
Judi continued: “We can also see some self-soothing rituals here, plus a gesture that suggests a desire to keep control and retain a calm exterior.
“The thumb-rubbing is the self-soothing, but the way she smooths her skirt with her hands is the one that signals calm control here.
“Her walk is very much an ‘I’m back!’ stride of determination, suggesting she was pretty keen to get back under the studio lights again as a performer as well as a duchess.”
Despite this, the fellow judges and participants of the show have all praised working with Meghan, who was believed to have been on the set for just one day.
