UNBELIEVABLE! Brian McFadden addresses Vogue Williams after she slammed “incredibly rude” ex for not being invited to his wedding

Brian McFadden has addressed Vogue Williams’ complaint that she was not invited to his wedding, revealing that he sees little reason to stay in regular contact with either of his former wives.

The former Westlife singer married Danielle Parkinson in July 2025 after eight years together, but Vogue later admitted she was unimpressed to have been left off the guest list.

Speaking on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast in June, Vogue called the decision “incredibly rude” and joked that it was the reason she and Brian no longer speak.

Brian has now responded, making clear that he does not share her expectations about maintaining a close relationship after divorce.

“We haven’t spoken in a long time, but why would we?” he told The Sun.

“We’re both married to other people and have children and families. Why would you bother speaking to your ex? It doesn’t make any sense.”

Brian Responds to Vogue’s Wedding Complaint

Vogue had previously said: “He did not invite me to his new wedding. I did find that incredibly rude that he didn’t invite me, actually, and that is why we don’t talk.”

She also joked that she would have made sure the ceremony went ahead had she been invited.

Brian and Vogue married in 2012 and separated in 2015, with their divorce finalised in 2017.

Both have since moved on with new partners and family lives, which Brian said was part of the reason he saw no need for regular communication.

He also stressed that his wedding to Danielle was intentionally small.

According to Brian, several friends were not invited either, suggesting Vogue’s exclusion was not intended as a personal slight.

The disagreement appears to come down to very different views of what kind of relationship former spouses should maintain after moving on.

Brian Says He No Longer Speaks to Kerry Katona Either

Brian also revealed that he does not regularly speak to his first wife, Kerry Katona.

The pair married in 2002 and divorced in 2006, and they share two daughters who are now adults.

“I don’t speak to Kerry any more. We don’t need to,” Brian said.

He explained that because their daughters are grown up, there is no longer the same practical need for the former couple to stay in close contact.

Brian did, however, suggest that they would naturally speak again at major family occasions, such as either daughter’s wedding.

Despite their lack of communication, Kerry has previously spoken positively about Danielle.

She has praised Danielle’s relationship with the daughters and revealed that she once sent her a Mother’s Day message.

Kerry has also publicly wished Brian and Danielle well, showing that the absence of regular contact does not necessarily mean there is ongoing hostility.

Brian and Danielle’s Intimate Cornwall Wedding

Brian and Danielle tied the knot in July 2025 at Lusty Glaze Beach on Cornwall’s north coast.

The couple had been together for eight years before the wedding and became engaged in 2019.

Their original plans were delayed by the Covid pandemic.

They later welcomed a daughter in 2021 following IVF treatment and two miscarriages.

Brian described their eventual wedding as an intimate celebration focused on close relatives and friends.

Footage reposted by Danielle showed the newlyweds entering their reception as guests cheered, with Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours) playing in the background.

For Brian, the limited guest list reflected the type of wedding he and Danielle wanted rather than an attempt to offend anyone.

Vogue, however, clearly saw things differently.

Her comments suggested she believed their shared history warranted an invitation, while Brian maintains that former spouses do not need to remain part of one another’s everyday lives once they have remarried.

The contrasting views have now turned a private guest-list decision into a very public disagreement.

And while Brian has not ruled out speaking to his exes when family circumstances require it, his position on regular contact could hardly be clearer: he simply does not see the point.
